CFBR is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions. 

Position: Full-time civil/structural engineer.

Desired Experience / Skills:
  • Coursework and work experience relevant to structural engineering design.
  • Experience with structural engineering software (RISA, RAM, Enercalc, Mathcad, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience using Revit.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and works well with others.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • An enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Past experience in construction or the construction industry is a plus.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and management of structural designs for residential and commercial buildings and other similar structures.
  • Prepare structural calculations to analyze, design and size structural members and systems.
  • Assist in the 3D modeling of structures and the creation of structural drawings using Revit.
  • Prepare construction documents as needed for permit submittal and construction: drawings, calculations, specifications, cost estimates, etc.
  • Perform construction administration duties such as field inspections, review of shop drawings, and answering construction questions.
  • Work with owners and other team members like architects, engineers, building officials and contractors.
  • Perform tasks to support office functions and maintain project records.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A graduate with at least a BS in Civil Engineering and has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • At least 4 years of work experience, licensed as a PE or SE in Nevada, and capable of independently managing small to mid-size projects is preferred.

Position: Full-time Revit modeler / drafter.

  • Other tasks could include providing assistance with the design of structural elements, communicating and coordinating with other team members (architects, engineers, contractors, etc.), supporting office functions, maintaining project records, etc.
